In order to provide a wide-ranging logistic service, our clients are offered a possibility of both inward and outward customs clearance through our own customs agencies located in Gdynia at Baltic Container Terminal and in Hamburg Free-Port.

 

Our customs agency in Hamburg may act as a fiscal representative of Polish company in Germany. Customs clearance is done in Germany on behalf of Polish importer. The crucial element of this service is the fact that the VAT settlement is delayed to the next month. When the customs clearance is done, the importer is obliged to pay the customs duty only. The actual tax obligation date is settled according to the VAT regulation law (Art.20 ust.5). In the result , Polish tax payer, who had done customs clearance of the imported goods in Germany, shows its tax obligation in tax declaration VAT-7 in the following month after the goods were admitted into sale.
